Genderflux

Genderflux is an LGBTQA+ identity that is a subset of genderfluid. It is characterised by the fluctuation of one's gender from agender (having no gender) to being fully gendered (e.g. male, female, non-binary, etc.). This also encompasses any genders in between this, such as paragenders, demigenders and libragenders.

For example, one may fluctuate on a scale of agender to librafeminine to demigirl to paragirl to fully female.

Sometimes the gender of fluctuation changes if the person in question is fluidflux. For example, at one point in time they may be fluctuating from agender to male but another time be fluctuating from agender to non-binary.

The term was first used in 1994 to describe rocker Marilyn Manson. The term became popularised by tumblr user @deergoths, who is no longer active on the site.
