Premise[edit]
Featuring an ensemble cast, the story tells about a group of high school students who explore their sexuality in a modern world. This tests their deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.

Production[edit]
Generation was first announced in September 2019 with a pilot order.[1] In December, Generation was officially ordered to series.[2] Lena Dunham executive produces the series through Good Thing Going Productions, alongside Zelda Barnz, and her father Ben and Daniel, through We're Not Brothers Productions.
