Geneva Information Security Day
Geneva Information Security Day (GISD).[1] is a cybersecurity conference held annually in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is vendor-independent and covers all aspects of emerging cybersecurity threats, remediation, compliance, etc.[2]. The conference format features open and actionable panel discussions for sharing knowledge and the latest trends. Speakers include top-level cybersecurity executives and experts, governmental security officers, and journalists writing on technology and information security topics. GISD is solely hosted by the Swiss-based web security company High-Tech Bridge. The conference venue has varied, but recent years have been held at the Mandarin Oriental Geneva Hotel[3] (Quai Turrettini 1, CH-1201 Geneva, Switzerland). Average attendance is 300 people. Admission is free but reserved for cybersecurity, privacy, and GRC practitioners. According to BMC,[4] the event was one of the Top 20 IT security conferences of 2018. It was also featured in the list of top cybersecurity conferences of 2018–2019 by CSO Online.[5]
