Genius(Tamil)
Genius is an upcoming Indian Tamil drama film, written and directed by Susienthiran and produced by Roshan. The film stars Roshan, Priyalal in the lead roles, with supporting cast including Aadukalam Naren, V.Jayaprakash, Singampuli and Meera Krishna. The film features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by R. B.Gurudev.

Production[edit]
This idea of this film was dormant in the mind of Suseenthiran for several years since he met an interesting person with unique personality. This idea was further stimulated after his watching the Hindi Movie P.K. He further developed this thought in to a complete movie tagged with a Social message. This script revolves around the pressure put on young children to perform and excel to the top, in various fields they encounter. He has tried to portray this pressure, from the children point of view, on how they face and manage them. The impact of this on the young minds and how they play out as they grow. Several planning has gone in to the look and feel of this movie and efforts put to match the story line. This movie also marks his partnership again with Music Director Yuvan Shakar Raja after a long gap since the movie Adhalal Kadhal seiveer. While the Director was in the lookout for the apt person to this challenging role, he met several lead actors for the same. However, he stumbled upon the right man, when he met Roshan, who incidentally also produced this movie. This choice proved to be the right decision for the days to come, with the debut actor Roshan showed his discipline and dedication towards acting. He also lost several kilos by following a strict diet and hitting the gym, to take shape of the character.
