After writing the treatment, several months went by before Geoffrey's wife read the treatment and he felt prompted to write the screenplay. "It was my first and it actually was optioned to a production company who loved it. Unfortunately the tax incentives expired and the company went out of business."[1]

Since then, he has received honors in several film festivals and contests including the Louis Mitchell Award for Excellence in Writing at the Action on Film International Film Fest[2] , First place in Horror Hotel[3] , First place in the Indie Gathering Film Fest[4], Nominated for Best New Writer in the Action on Film fest[5] among others.

His latest book, The Guide for Every Screenwriter, is an Amazon Best Seller [6]. Some the subjects covered are; the concept of a screenplay from plot/subplot, working through dialog, creating & resolving conflict, structure and screenplay formatting.
