Geoffrey Girard is a prolific author known for his works in various genres including literary fiction, thrillers, historical fiction, horror, and dark fantasy. Born in Würzburg, Germany, Girard was educated at Washington College and Miami University.

In 2013, Simon & Schuster published his techno-thriller novel Cain's Blood and its teen companion, Project Cain. Both are based on his novella CAIN XP11, which was serialized in Apex Digest in 2007. Project Cain was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for "Superior Achievement in a Young Adult Novel" in 2013.[2]

Girard’s other notable works include Tales of the Jersey Devil (2005), Tales of the Atlantic Pirates (2006), and Tales of the Eastern Indians (2007). He has also ghostwritten memoirs and published fiction under various pen names. His short stories have appeared in anthologies like Dark Faith and Writers of the Future.[1]

Girard teaches creative writing and has been featured in various magazines and interviews. He currently resides in Ohio.[3]
