George Busby Christian Jr. (March 25, 1873 – February 9, 1951) was an American businessman, political aide, and childhood friend of Warren G. Harding who served as his personal secretary during both his time in the Senate as well as his presidency. During Harding's front porch campaign in the 1920 election, Christian's property was used as the Republican Party campaign headquarters. After the president's sudden death in 1923, his successor, Calvin Coolidge, offered to let Christian keep his position in the White House and even nominated him to concurrently serve as a member of the Federal Trade Commission, but Christian declined the overture and the nomination was withdrawn.
