George Berkowski is a British entrepreneur and author known for his role as the former head of product at Hailo,[1] a taxi-hailing app, and for writing How to Build a Billion Dollar App.[2]

Education

He studied rocket science and economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned an MBA from ESCP Europe.[1]

Career

Berkowski started his career working in finance and later transitioned into technology startups. At Hailo, he played a key role in the company’s early product development. After leaving Hailo, he co-founded DeepAR, a company that provides augmented reality technology for mobile developers.[3][4][not in citation given]

He also co-founded IceCream, an app designed to offer a more private and respectful approach to dating.[5]
