George Jackson is a British Orchestral and Opera Conductor[2], and the son of actor Philip Jackson[3][4].
Jackson studied with Robert Spano at the Aspen Music Festival and School from 2014 to 2016, winning both the Robert Harth Conducting Prize and the Aspen Conducting Prize.[5]
Since 2022, he has served as music director of the Amarillo Symphony[6][7], where he leads the Orchestra's Centenary Season celebrations in 2023-2024.[8]
