George Katehis

George Katehis (born 1991 in New York, New York, United States) is a Greek-American composer. He studied composition at Syracuse University and the Manhattan School of Music. His primary instructors in composition include Reiko Fueting and Jeff William Nichols, and Kenneth Meyer in classical guitar.[1][2] Katehis’ works have had numerous performances in North America[3][4] and Europe[5], and he is the recipient of several awards and distinguished grants and fellowships.[6][7][8] He has researched and written compositions for less common and Baroque instruments, such as accordion, organ, and harpsichord.[9][10][11]

Katehis is the founder of meta.ksi, a collective of Greek composers, artists, and designers.[12] His work become/desiccated for solo accordion is published by Edition Avantus.[13]
