George Weinstein is an author born May 29, 1966. Raised in Laurel, Maryland, he has published five books, the best known of which is the Southern Gothic novel Hardscrabble Road, which is set in southern Georgia during the Great Depression.[2][3] He is a two time former President of the 'Atlanta Writer's Club' and often attends literary conferences, book clubs and writing workshops as a guest speaker.[4] He lives with his wife and her two daughters in Marietta, Georgia.
