Georgi Dimitrov (Bulgarian: Георги Димитров, born 11 April 2005) is a British-Bulgarian racing driver who is currently competing in the F4 British Championship.
Career[edit]
2020: Ginetta Junior Championship[edit]
Debuting in the one-make category this year with Richardson Racing, Dimitrov has proven himself to be a revelation since graduating from karting, claiming four wins and a further three podium finishes and finishing the season on 4th place and as a runner-up rookie driver. [1]
2021-present: British Formula 4[edit]
In November 2020 Richardson Racing announced their returning in the F4 British Championship with Dimitrov signed as one of their drivers.[2] After taking part of 3 weekends out of 6 and winning one race, Dimitrov moved to TRS Arden Junior Team until end of season.[3] He won delayed Silverstone reversed-grid British F4 race and a chaotic reversed grid F4 race at Donington, enthing the season with 3 wins at total and on 16th place.[4][5]
On 29 March 2022 Georgiev moved to JHR Developments for the 2022 season.[6] On the first weekend on Donington Park, he registered a 9th and 6th places in Race 1 and 3, with taking the win on the second race.[7]
2021: Formula 4 Spain[edit]
In November 2021 Dimitrov joined Drivex School for the last race for the season of F4 Spanish Championship.[8]
