Georgia Cloepfil (born April 28, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Arna Bjornar in the Norwegian Toppserien. She previously played for Hwacheon KSPO in the Korean WK League.

Personal Life[edit]

Cloepfil grew up in Portland, Oregon where she attended Lincoln High School and she helped the Cardinals win back to back state championships in 2007 and 2008. She is the daughter of architect Brad Cloepfil....[1]

Macalester College, 2010-2013[edit]

In 2010, Cloepfil began attending Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. As a sophomore, she scored 4 goals and finished the season with 1 assist. Her junior season, Cloepfil scored 15 goals assisted on 8 goals, ending the season first in both categories in the MIAC conference.

As a senior in 2013, Cloepfil earned First Team All-North Region honors for the third consecutive year while also being named a NSCAA Third Team All-American[2] and the MIAC Player of the Year[3] after racking up 50 points (19 goals, 12 assists) across 19 matches.

Playing Career[edit]

Arna Bjornar, 2019[edit]

In April 2019 Cloepfil signed a contract with Arna-Bjornar[4] in the Toppserien.

Gintra Universitetas, 2018[edit]

Cloepfil signed a short term contract in August 2018 to join the Lithuanian team Gintra Universitetas for their campaign in the UEFA Women's Champions League knock-out rounds. Gintra played against SK_Slavia_Praha_(women) in the round of 32[5]

Seattle Reign, 2018[edit]

Cloepfil joined the Seattle Reign in the NWSL for preseaon and was a member of the preliminary 25-person roster for the 2018 season[6]

Hwacheon KSPO, 2017[edit]

Cloepfil signed with Hwacheon KSPO. She started 26 games and finished the season with 8 goals and 3 assists. She helped secure a place in post-season with a hat-trick against Seoul FC[7]. After finishing third in the league, Cloepfil helped Hwacheon KSPO to the National Championship game, where the team fell to Incheon Hyundia Red Angels[8]

Raväsens IK, 2016[edit]

In 2016, Cloepfil signed for Raväsens IK Karlskoga in Sweden's Div. 1. Cloepfil started all 28 matches, scoring 26 goals and assisting on 19 goals.
