Gerald Williams[1] (born February 18, 1986)[2], is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder, professor, author, real estate agent.

Early life[edit | edit source]

Gerald was born and raised in the California Bay Area. From an early age he was interested in athletics.[3] Having been a student athlete most of his life, he always had a strong focus on athletics and other interpersonal pursuits. Gerald played soccer through most of his childhood, eventually being selected for a United States National Soccer team.

Transitioning to high school Gerald started playing football. He played varsity in his sophomore year. Football introduced Gerald to structured weight training. Gerald discovered that he could train without having to play football, which began his career.

Bodybuilding career[edit | edit source]

Gerald stopped playing sports in favor of studying the art of bodybuilding and training. Gerald competed in his first fitness competition the 2003 NPC Contra Costa where he placed second. Over the following two years, Gerald worked toward winning the 2005 Overall Teenage Nationals.

Gerald competed again in 2007 and 2008 placing well. In 2008 Gerald decided to take a break from Bodybuilding to focus on getting other areas of his life “in shape.” In 2015 Gerald felt ready to get back on stage and continue his purist of becoming an IFBB Professional Bodybuilder.
