GBC (also known as GBC Channel or German Broadcasting Company) is a premium cable German television channel dedicated to television series and sports.
Since May 2014, the second channel option is possible with GBC.
History[edit]
Previously, the GBC was divided into two channels. In March 2014 Sky Germany gave Kabel deutschland Cable and other cable operators the green light for the transmitter.
Situation[edit]
GBC focuses of the program offer on sports, movies, series and entertainment. To select several packages are available with various content that can each be combined. The GBC World package serves as a base package to premium packages (movie, sport and football league) as well as additional services (HD or GBC +) can be expanded. The range of thematic channels other providers in GBC was significantly expanded (for example, History Channel and Biography Channel or E! Entertain). These are included on the World GBC package in each new GBC subscription.

The GBC is the first station of the Universal Studio GmbH Germany.
