Early Life and Education

Gerony, whose name is Gerald, was born on March 23, 1997[1] and brought up at Twifo Praso in the Central Region of Ghana. He began his basic education through junior high school at Twifo Praso and continued his senior high school at Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS) in Kumasi, later moving to St John's School, Sekondi to complete his senior high school education and further his tertiary education.

Music Career

Rap music has been important to him from the outset and has shaped his musical art, putting him where he is today. He was inspired by some of the top rappers in Ghana (Sarkodie, Yaa Pono, Joey B and Stay Jay), whom he appreciated while listening to them, and through that, he developed his own skill of composing in his genre. He began his first studio recordings at his former senior high school (OKESS) in Kumasi and started performing live at his secondary school entertainment events, which inspired him and also prepared him in the rap game. As he continued his education at St John's School, Sekondi, he got nominated at St John's Entertainment music awards[4] which he won in 2016, and that gave him the enthusiasm to push harder and make his dream a reality. He began rap competitions/battles and recorded his first single at Romeo Beatz studio in Cape Coast.
