Mr. Ndyanabo Ndyanabo is a Certified Accountant, a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, Member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and Member of The Global Institute of Internal Auditors[1].

Background and Education[edit]

Gervase Ndyanabo was born in the present Sheema District in Western Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Makerere University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business, United Kingdom[2].

Career and Responsibilities[edit]

He started his career at Coopers and Lybrand, Chartered Accountants, Kampala before joining New Vision Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd. He joined New Vision Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd in 1989 as an Internal Auditor. He became Chief Internal Auditor in 1995 and then Company Secretary in 2005[3].

Gervase has served on several Boards including; member of the Board of Directors of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors, President of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Uganda, and member and Vice Chairman of Council of Uganda Martyrs University. He is currently the Chairman Board of Trustees of IIA Uganda, a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda[4], board member of Finance Trust Bank[2] and President of Uganda National Catholic Council of Lay Apostolate (UNCCLA)[5][6][7][8]. Gervase is an active member of Lions Clubs International and is currently the Global Leadership Team (GLT) Coordinator for Uganda.
