GetApp is a business apps and software discovery platform for SMBs acquiring software as a service (SaaS) products.[1] Its headquarters are in Barcelona, Spain. It was founded in 2010 by Nubera and acquired by American research and advisory information technology firm Gartner in 2015. [2]

GetApp utilizes Category Leaders for a visualization of market analysis results, and hosts user reviews and comparisons of software products. [3]

GetApp research focuses on small business technology trends, and has been cited in articles from Inc.,[4] Forbes,[5] and Harvard Business Review.[6]

The company was founded in 2010 by Christophe Primault and Manuel Jaffrin.[7]As part of a subset of Nubera, GetApp was acquired in July 2015 by Gartner, Inc., a global information technology research and advisory company.[1] Christophe Primault and Manuel Jaffrin remained as managing VPs until their departure in March 2017. Thibaut de Lataillade has been the General Manager of the company since April 2017.
