Ghassan Benchiheb is a digital entrepreneur born in Asilah on 24 May 1991. He completed his studies at the Technical Secondary School in Sidi Kassem and then his higher education in Rabat. Ghassan is one of the most active young youth in social media in Morocco. He is known for his great involvement in promoting the idea of social networks for social change and his defense of the issues of the web and the Morocco web community [1][2]. Ghassan is the founder of Tahaqaq[3], the first digital platform in Morocco to counteract fake news,the platform has indeed won the "Dominique Benbrahim Alumni Impact Award" for the efforts it has made since its launch in fighting against fake news[4]. Ghassan served as chef social media for the Justice and Development Party and was responsible for the digital marketing of former prime minister of Morocco Abdelilah Benkirane[5][6][7]. He was nominated as the top social media personalities in the moroccan web awards 2013[8]. He is Alumni of the International Visitors leadership Program hosted by the US Department of State[9], he traveled to the United States of America representing Morocco to visit Facebook[10], Twitter[9] & Microsoft headquarters.
