Faqeer Arbelo (Urdu: غازی فقیر اربیلو کٹپر‎, Faqeer Ghazi Arbelo Katpar) was a Pakistani soldier of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. He died on 10th July 2011.[2][3] Faqeer Arbelo Katpar was awarded the Nishan-e-Shujaat Sitar-e-Shujat in 1965.[4]

Achievements[edit]

Faqeer Arbelo is known for capturing 2200 acres of land in Rajasthan, India while commanding a force of only 500 Hur Muhajdeens. He was Mureed of Pir of Pagaro VII and defended the border between Pakistan and India from Khokhrapar to Rahimyarkhan.[6][7]
