Ghostbird, stylised as ghostbird, are an English Alternative Rock band based in Nottingham formed in 2018 by ex-members of Total Victory and To The Bones.[1] The band takes their name from a character in Jeff Vandermeer’s Southern Reach Trilogy. [2]

History
In 2017 Matt Evans left Total Victory after 10 years with the band and started to work on the songs which would make up Ghostbird's debut Missing EP. Recording took place in Matt’s bedroom in Carlton, Nottingham in early 2018; the files were sent to Total Victory members Matt Leonard and Andy Dawson who recorded live drums and mixed the EP in Andy’s rehearsal space, DOA Studios in Bolton.
