The Ghoul Sniper Rifle (Arabic: بنضقية الغول القسامية lit. The Qassami Ghoul Sniper Rifle) is a Bolt action sniper rifle locally made by Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades in small workshops across The Gaza Strip, The Ghoul snipers have a caliber of 14.5 mm or the new 12.7 mm caliber variant as in the clip shown by the Qassam Brigades in the 2023 Israel War on Gaza,[1] it has a possible range of up to 2 kilometers.[2] It was unveiled during the 2014 war on Gaza on the 28th day of the Battle of AL Asf AL Ma'kool,[3] later on the 2023 Israel–Gaza war, a video published by Hamas shows the manufacturing of their new version of the sniper that uses 12.7 mm cartridges.[4]

At first, experts questioned it's effective range for the low cost and the limited resources available to the manufacturers, but this was proven false after Al Qassam Brigades published a large amount of videos showing their fighters target and kill Israeli soldiers from long range.[5]
