Giacomo Palazzesi is an Italian classical guitarist born in 1983. His first album was released by the Guitart publishing label in 2016 . This features a work dedicated to the original music for guitar by Jaume Pahissa, Gaspar Cassadó, Miguel Llobet and Manuel De Falla. It was recorded by lutist Antonio Emilio Pascual Viudes, on a 1925 gut stringed guitar. A monographic radio episode of Radio Classica dedicated to the album was conceived and conducted by Luca Ciammarughi. In 2017 he worked with Carles Trepat in the concerts celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Antonio De Torres and contributed to the soundtrack of “Due soldati” by Marco Tullio Giordana. In 2018 he published “Bach & Tárrega: Preludes and Dances” with the label Continuo Records. His last recording, in 2019, was Time Regained: Early Works for Solo Guitar, a monographic disc on Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, published by Da Vinci Classics.
