Giacomo Palazzesi
Giacomo Palazzesi is an Italian classical guitarist born in 1983. His first album was released by the Guitart publishing label in 2016 [1]. This features a work dedicated to the original music for guitar by Jaume Pahissa, Gaspar Cassadó, Miguel Llobet and Manuel De Falla. It was recorded by lutist Antonio Emilio Pascual Viudes, on a 1925 gut stringed guitar. A monographic radio episode of Radio Classica dedicated to the album was conceived and conducted by Luca Ciammarughi[2]. In 2017 he worked with Carles Trepat in the concerts celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Antonio De Torres and contributed to the soundtrack of “Due soldati”[3] by Marco Tullio Giordana. In 2018 he published “Bach & Tárrega: Preludes and Dances” with the label Continuo Records. His last recording, in 2019, was Time Regained: Early Works for Solo Guitar, a monographic disc on Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, published by Da Vinci Classics.
