Without seeing one another, the matched pair practices together for a week. On the day of the duet, they get to see one another's appearance if they are able to win the approval of the audiences. They must also win the approval of the judges in order to get the chance to meet and decide whether to continue the duet and become a couple. All the while, they compete with other couples and prepare for the DUET COMPETITION. They must show their harmony, chemistry and synchronized beat in a diverse range of musical genres and performances in the DUET COMPETITION while those who fail to do so are eliminated.

PRELIMINARIES Before the COUPLE MATCHING DUET, the pairs that have been matched based on song selection are given 1 week to practice for the duet. The pairs receive an arranged version of the song they have been matched based on and they record their parts and exchange it with their partner so that they can practice using the recording of their partner. While practicing, they participants imagine their partner’s appearance, personality etc. During the preliminaries, the matched pairs are given a chance to communicate with one another, 4 days before the COUPLE MATCHING DUET. They begin singing the duet and once they receive 50 out of 100 audience votes, the barrier disappears so that the pair sees one another for the first time. If all 3 judges also vote for the pair, the 2 bridges connecting the side stages they are currently singing on appears and connects to the main stage. The contestants are given the option to cross the bridge and become a couple or to stay on their side of the stage and not become a couple. After all 30 pairs perform, the pairs that have successfully become a couple with the top 10 highest scores move onto the next round.
