The law firm was founded in 1988 when Francesco Gianni, an attorney in M&A, entered into a partnership with Gian Battista Origoni, an attorney in Litigation & Arbitration. In 2002 Eugenio Grippo, an attorney in Project Finance, joined the firm that became Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners. In 2011 Roberto Cappelli, an attorney in M&A, joined the firm with a team of 10 lawyers and the firm name changed in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners [4] [5][6]. The firm is managed by a Board of Directors that are made up of 7 partners, including the Managing Partners, Antonio Auricchio and Rosario Zaccà, nominated every 2 years. In 2015, Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners entered into an alliance with Chinese law firm Han Kun Law Offices [7] [8] and in 2016 with Al Shamsi & Partners, an UAE law firm with offices in Dubai [9] [10] [11]
