Gigi Salmon

Gigi Diana Salmon is a British TV and radio presenter, reporter and commentator, specialising in sport. She regularly covers tennis and football for BBC Five Live as well as presenting a number of programmes on the channel. She is lead presenter for Roland Garros TV and also presents on Chelsea TV and anchors broadcast coverage of the Fever Tree Championships tennis at Queen's Club. She commentates for BBC Radio, ATP Tennis Radio, Radio Roland Garros and WTA Media among others. Salmon has also presented Solheim Cup golf coverage and BBC Radio Five Live's coverage of the 2016 Paralympic Games from Rio as well as Wimbledon.[1].

Salmon has also been MC for corporate events and awards ceremonies, including for brands such as Samsung and Fever Tree as well as for Chelsea Football Club.

She is also co-presenter of the Tennish Podcast with Naomi Cavaday[2]

Salmon attended St George's School in Ascot before studying at Oxford Brookes University.

Salmon began her broadcasting career in 1997 at Radio Oxygen in Oxford. She went on join Talk Sport in 1999 as a newsreader and reporter and began reporting and presenting for Chelsea TV in 2000. Her first tennis broadcasting experience came at Radio Wimbledon, where she commentated at the Championships from 2003 - 2011 until the channel changed to become Live @ Wimbledon[5]. Salmon continued to broadcast for Live @ Wimbledon until she began presenting the Championships for BBC Five Live in 2019[6]. Salmon began working for Radio Roland Garros in 2010 and went on to present Roland Garros TV, the official online TV show of the tournament [7]
