Gigi Stone Woods is an American television correspondent and anchor.
Stone Woods works regularly as an on-air rotating anchor on NBC and as a media trainer and TV consultant through her company StoneWoods Media. She works with performers, authors and business executives to help them shape their media message and improve their on-air performance.
She is on the board of directors of "The Opportunity Network" a non-profit that helps low-income, high achieving students go on to great colleges and careers. She is also on the corporate advisory board for Thuzio, a media company.

Stone attended the Nightingale-Bamford School, and the Trinity School and learned to speak French and Spanish. Stone received a master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where she won the John M. Patterson Prize for Best Television documentary. Stone volunteered in a Peace Corps-style program in South America, and is a graduate of the Outward Bound training school.[1]
Early career[edit]
Stone's first major job was at WWAY-TV-3, the ABC affiliate in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she trained as a volunteer firefighter and battled a blaze as part of a news series.
ABC career[edit]
Stone has worked as a correspondent and anchor at ABC News. She reported for World News Tonight, Nightline, and Good Morning America. She worked as an anchor for World News Now and ABC News Now, the network's 24-hour news channel.
Stone has anchored and reported live, breaking news events including the death of Bin Laden, Presidential elections, and Hurricane Katrina. She has reported, written and produced investigative series on pension shortfalls, health insurance fraud and predatory lending practices.

Stone anchored and reported live from the scene of major breaking financial news events. They include Bernie Madoff's trial, various insider trading cases, corporate mergers and acquisitions.
