Gilbert Alexander Gomez (born March 8, 1992) is a Dominican professional baseball coach and former player who serves as first base and outfield coach for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Professional career
On November 19, 2025, the New York Mets announced that they had hired Gomez as their new major-league first base and outfield coach beginning with the 2026 season.[1]
