Gilly Ann Hanner
Gilly Ann Hanner is a Pacific Northwest songwriter and musician best known for her work in the bands Calamity Jane and Braille Stars.
Living in Olympia, WA in the late 1980's she began playing with musicians Lisa Koenig and Ronna Era in what would eventually become the grunge/punk band known as Calamity Jane. Together with Megan Hanner(bass), Joanna Bolme(guitar, bass) and Lisa Koenig(drums) later replaced by Marci Martinez the band released 3 singles and an album Martha Jane Cannery.[1]
