GirlsAskGuys is a digital community in which women and men ask lifestyle question of each other on issues such as dating, relationships, fashion, and health.[1]
There are versions in three other languages: the Turkish KizlarSoruyor.com launched in 2011; the Spanish EllasSaben.com launched in 2014, and, the Brazilian Portuguese ElasSabem.com in 2015. In September 2013, the company raised $1 Million in its first funding round.[1]
Overview[edit]
On GirlsAskGuys, users ask for feedback and opinions. The two main features allow asking questions of the opposite sex, and posting "myTakes", a way to share experiences without having to ask a question.
Upon subscription and through site participation, members earn Xper Points, which allow members to advance levels, called Xper Levels, Top users are awarded Editor status, which allows them to create articles, as myTakes, with rich media embedded.
