Graduate of Musicians Institute (Los Angeles), Berklee College of Music (Boston), and Liceo Musicale Domenico Scarlatti (Naples, Italy). A seasoned producer and collaborator with an extensive portfolio, having worked alongside world-renowned artists such as Massive Attack, Lady Gaga, Kee Marcello, Vinnie Moore, Uli Jon Roth, Florence + The Machine, Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, Craig David, Ricky Martin, Republika, Foo Fighters, Slayer, Pino Palladino, Mike Patton, PJ Harvey, Birdy, Sacrilege, Morrissey, Luca Carboni, Mimmo Cavallo, Patty Pravo, and many others.

Giulio Riccelli is a highly active presence in both the US and UK music scenes. As a seasoned studio session guitarist, he has contributed to numerous recordings across Europe and the United States and has composed songs for internationally acclaimed artists, including Lady Gaga.

He began his career as a producer with Virgin Atlantic and, in 2017, signed a contract with Sony.

Giulio has toured the UK as a guitarist supporting Steve Vai and Richie Kotzen, and has taken the stage alongside Lionel Richie. You can also hear him with his super‑funk band, FlyTrap.

Giulio Riccelli is a fascinating figure because he bridges mainstream pop production, rock performance, and intimate acoustic tributes. His work is marked by a distinctive "sad hopefulness", paired with a sincere and deeply evocative sense of sentimentality.

Immerse yourself in pieces such as the Mediterranean “Capri”, “Sand”, “Slaves Still Slaves”, “Sad Eyes”, "Don't be cruel", the emotional “Smiling”, "So cold", "The Astronaut (Feat. Steve Vai)", the virtuosic "Flight of the bumblebee", "Jogging in the park" or "Neon loneliness". The melancholic "Separate ways", “Compass for Bread,” "Tell me", “Surrey Hills”, the Mysterious, melancholic and poetic "Vision of the Chestnut Man", a strange figure made of memory, fear, hope and autumnal mysticism, or the ethereal "Waiting for 38", a masterpiece suspended between myth and memory.

Each one offers a different evocative doorway into his world, a blend of melancholy introspection, technical precision, and quietly astonishing virtuosity. Together, they form a portrait of an artist who can make complexity feel intimate, and emotion feel meticulously crafted.

He's not just behind the scenes. He's also an incredible virtuoso performer who brings storytelling and guitar driven artistry to life and his ability to move between studio production, live performances, and composition makes him a rare multi-talented figure in today's music industry.

Giulio Riccelli is currently endorsed by Laney, Sonicake, and Salviati Handmade Musical Instruments.
