Giulio Savioli
Giulio Vincent Savioli (1933–2009) was a small arms engineer who worked for Springfield Armory. He designed auxiliary triggers for firearms.
Biography
Giulio Savioli was from Springfield, Massachusetts and of Bologna Italian descent. At the age of 18, he started working at the Springfield Armory in Massachusetts as a draftsman and later retired from Picatinny Arsenal as an engineer. He acquired several government patents while working for the small arms division for 35 years. He has several government patents for safety triggers that he developed during the Vietnam War.[1]
