Giuseppe Aceto (born in 1988 in Trento) is an Italian designer, sound artist and electronic music composer.
He studied piano in his youth and during his study at the University of Trento he deepened the study of electronic music and sound design with Silvio Relandini and Enrico Cosimi. He lived in Trento, until 2018 when he moved to Milan to continue his work as a designer.
Aceto's music has been issued by TedX.[1], Fleish[2] and Rumore[3]
Career[edit]
Aceto's compositional practice combines an interest in sampling and in particular the use of microsound. His music is the result of a personal research on noise, dissonance and contamination.[4] During his career he took part in performances with artists such Vessels, Boosta by Subsonica, Is Tropical, Tempelhof, Satelliti [5][6][7] [3] [8] [2] [9] [10] [11] [12][13]. In 2013 Aceto also designed an exclusive soundscape for the opening of the Museo delle Scienze of Trento designed by Renzo Piano.[14][15] Since 2017 he collaborate with TedX Trento and in 2018 he opened the edition with a performance inspired by the main theme of the event "Hic Sunt Leones - Beyond the unknown, beyond the known, beyond the conventional".
