Givara Budeiri (Givara Ishaq Ahmed Al-Budeiri born; 1976) is Palestinian journalist and reporter of Al Jazeera.[1][2][3]
Early life and education[edit]
Budeiri was born in 1976 in Jerusalem. She received her BA degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Yarmouk University.[4]
Arrest[edit]
Budeiri was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces on June 5, 2021 while covering a sit-in in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, she was assaulted together with her cameraman Nabil Mazawi, and released on the same day with prevention from entering the neighborhood Sheikh Jarrah for 15 days.[5][6]
