Initially, the platform focused solely on providing cashback to shoppers who made purchases through the Giving Assistant website.[4] However, over time, the company expanded its offerings to include discount codes and deals, as well as the ability to donate a portion or all of a user's cashback earnings to a nonprofit of their choice.[5]

In 2018, the company received certification as a B Corp in 2018.[6]

In 2022, the company became a subsidiary of Upright Data for it was purchased for an undisclosed fee.[7]
