Gladys Ekone Wang

Born 1975 in Cameroon. A pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of theology in the University of Oslo.[1]

Background and education[edit]

Studied theology at the Presbyterian theological seminary Kumba, Cameroon, and graduated with a B.Th. in 2001.

Since 2001, she has served as an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon in different capacities

Master’s Degree in Theology (MTh) from the School of Religion, Philosophy and Classics, University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (2012).

Enrolled as a PhD candidate in the faculty of Theology University of Oslo (2015).

Affiliations[edit]

Member of the American Academy of Religion (AAR). She participates in the network Religion, Values and Society Research School, which is affiliated with the Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society ("Menighetsfakultetet").

Awards[edit]

SRPC Book Prize for Ministerial studies and Merit Certificates in Transforming Christian Pastoral Ministry, Contemporary Issues in Christianity and Key Themes in Christian Faith during the Gunther Wittenberg Lecture April 2012.
