Glasgow Autonomous Space, abbreviated GAS, is a self-organized social centre in Glasgow, Scotland.
GAS hosts many different types of events, including English language courses.[1] It has hosted different collectives doing printing, running a foodbank and a woman-lead welding collective.[2] It has provided space for DIY musicians.[3] and hosted events in connection with the 2022 Glasgow LGBT pride.[4][5]
In early 2021 GAS was in danger of closing since the existing organizers wanted to step down.[6][7] A blog post on the GAS website later that year confirmed they would continue.[8]
