History[edit]

Glasgow City Futsal Club was founded in 2017. The club became Scottish Futsal League Glasgow Champions in May 2017 in the club's first ever season playing futsal.

Colours and Badge[edit]

Glasgow City's colours are black and white. The club also has a yellow trim as a tribute to the Brazilian colours and above the badge there are 5 stars to show the number of times Brazil have been World Champions. The home kit being all black and the away being all white.

Scottish Futsal League[edit]

Glasgow City Futsal Club played their Scottish Futsal League matches at Hutcheson Grammar School and The City of Glasgow College, Glasgow, ending the season as League Champions 2017/18[2]. In season 2017/18 the club have been promoted into the SFL Superleague via the SFL Play-off system.[3] Glasgow City Futsal finished Runners up of the SFL Glasgow League Cup as they lost 5-4 to TMT Futsal in the final[4]. In the summer of 2018 the club launched a Development Squad to introduce new players to the sport of futsal and develop players to complete in the first team squad. The Glasgow City development squad compete in the SFL Glasgow League.

SFL Super League 2018/19[edit]

City made their debut in the SFL Super League on 2nd September 2018 against Dundee Futsal Club with the gaming ending in a 6-5 loss. Glasgow City's first win in the Super League came 30th September 2018, against Polonia Dundee, 8-5[5].
