Gleeful: The Real Show Choirs of America
Gleeful: The Real Show Choirs of America is a British documentary about American show choirs and glee clubs in certain high schools. This show highlights the rise of the major TV phenomenon, the American series, Glee. Glee is a show about a competitive high school show choir that takes place in Lima, Ohio. This documentary higlisghts the clubs' competitiveness. It followed real show choir and glee club members and teachers as they make their way through the competition. One of the high schools featured in this documentary is John Burroughs High School. In the film, former glee club and show choir members say that they owe their careers to show choir.
