Glenborrodale Castle
Glenborrodale Castle is a historic Scottish castle, built in the early 20th century by a known businessman at that times. It is located in the upper half of Scotland, at the Atlantic Ocean.
History[edit]
The five-storey Glenborrodale Castle was built in 1902 of red Dumfriesshire sandstone in the Scots Baronial style.[1][2] The Castle was built as a guest house by Charles Rudd, the main business associate of Cecil Rhodes, and was later owned by Jesse Boot, who was the proprietor of the Boots chain of chemist shops.
