Glilot Capital Partners Glilot Capital Partners is an Israeli venture capital fund that manages more than half a billion dollars and has invested in more than 40 Israeli start-ups. The firm is a seed and early-growth investor that focuses on the Enterprise software space, mainly in the areas of Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, DevOps.
The fund was founded by investors and serial entrepreneurs Kobi Samboursky and Arik Kleinstein. Today they run the fund together with Nofar Amikam and Lior Litwak. The Value Creation arm of the fund is run by Dorin Baniel and is joined by team Leah Zuckerman, Chen Yakar, and Alon Cinamon.
Between the years 2016–2021, the fund has been selected several times as one of the best performing venture capital funds in the world in its category[1][2].
History
Glilot Capital Partners was established in 2011 by Kobi Samboursky and Arik Kleinstein, serial entrepreneurs who established several startups that have successfully exited[3][4].
In 2011, the fund raised its first investment fund - Glilot I - for investment in Seed companies. Some of the Glilot I portfolio companies include Lightcyber, acquired by Palo Alto Networks[5], CyberX, acquired by Microsoft[6], and Porticor, acquired by Intuit[7].
In 2015, Glilot raised the fund's second investment fund - Glilot II[8], which, like the first fund, was intended for investments in seed-stage companies. The second fund invested in a variety of companies, including Polyrize acquired by Varonis Systems[9], Protego acquired by Check Point[10], and Intsights acquired by Rapid7[11]
By the end of 2018, Glilot raised the fund's third investment fund - Glilot III[12], intended for investment in Deep tech companies such as anecdotes[13], Ermetic[14], and Lightrun[15]
In 2021, the fund raised its fourth investment fund - Glilot +[16], which is intended for investment in companies in early-growth stages. Glilot + has invested in a number of notable companies in the Israeli ecosystem, including Rewire[17], Unicorn At-Bay[18] and Cyolo[19]
With the establishment of Glilot's fourth fund, the fund also announced the joining of Lior Litwak as a Managing Partner in the fund[20]
