Glitch Love

Glitch Love or, Love in the Ammariyah Studio is a 2022 Saudi film directed, produced, and written by Mahmoud Sabbagh — It is part of the Netflix original anthology dubbed Love, Life and everything in between, released on March 10, 2022, as the Netflix's first Pan-Arab original series.[1] Its the directors first short film and third fiction-film overall. The film was shot in Ammariyah old district in Jeddah. It stars Dhay Al Hilali and Sami Hanafy.
Title[edit]
The original title, حب في ستديو العمارية "Love in the Ammariyah Studio", refers to The Ammariyah old district sound studios of the fading golden era of Saudi modern music scene in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Plot[edit]
A Saudi pop singer, Ward must record a song near old town Jeddah at the legendary but fading studio run by 77-year-old sound technician Shibreen. When the power cuts, Ward must avoid Shibreen's clutches in this contemporary deadpan comedy from Saudi Arabia.
