Glomi (born May 10, 2008) is a hyperpop artist. After making a collection of YouTube videos[1] and streams on Twitch,[2] he decided to make a transition to becoming a musician.[3]
Glomi released his first Spotify[4] single, "you can't stay here.", on the 30th of September 2024.[5]
Biography
Aidan was born on May 10, 2008, in England, Stratford-Upon-Avon[6]. Glomi's father was in a band[7], so it was only natural that Glomi would pick up the guitar at a young age and learn the basics. He would go from an inspiration in alternative rock (due to his father) to an inspiration in folk, being influenced by artists such as Crywank and The Microphones.[8]
At six years old, Glomi also started a journey of multiple YouTube accounts[9], before finally landing on the name Glowstone Miner[10], where his name would shrink into an abbreviation—GloMi.[1]
Glomi would learn about hyperpop in 2020, which inspired him through the start of his public music journey, now echoing through his folk works. Glomi decided to make music on BandLab[11], making many "vaulted" songs which are no longer viewable. Glomi's most frequent creative partners include:
