Gloria Eterna

Gloria Eterna (1988) in Greek titled Αιώνια δόξα (Aiónia dóxa) which translates to “Eternal Glory” is a song written by Nikos Gatsos, arranged by R. Loubet and Nikos Gatsos, performed by Nana Mouskouri.[1] The melody is George Frideric Handel's stately Sarabande from the Suite in D minor HWV 437. Gloria Eterna was first released on Nana Mouskouri's 1988 album titled “Classical" published by Philips.[1] The lyrics of the song are an ode to the eternal glory of Ancient Greece and The Roman Empire.[2]
