The Glorious India Award - Rich and Famous NRIs of America is an award given to Indian Americans who have made outstanding contributions in education, media, literature, medicine, law, and politics.[1] It was established with the goal of honoring individuals who have accomplished exceptional feats in their respective areas while inspiring others to achieve their dreams relentlessly around the globe.[2]
History[edit]
As a part of the annual Glorious India Expo, the award recognizes 42 distinguished individuals across the country for the honor. [3] [4] Recipients are awarded with the golden Glorious India Award seal.[5] A special Dossier, Rich and Famous NRIs of America, which lists the names and accomplishments of the awardees, is published annually and is widely distributed internationally. [6]

The 2017 honorees transcend a vast spectrum of fields and originate from various parts of India.[7] Awardees were honored at a massive awards ceremony in New Jersey on May 27, 2017.[8][9][10][11][12]
