Glucose-responsive insulin

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Glucose-responsive insulin patch (also known as smart insulin, adaptive insulin, smart insulin patch, MK-2640-001 or Sensulin, is an experimental type of insulin delivery patch which is hoped will keep blood sugars in the normal range in diabetics. The patch is supposed to adapt by releasing either less or more insulin relative to the level of glucose in the bloodstream.[1][2][3] Results of an animal model were published in 2015.[4]
