Gokulraj
Gokulraj is an Indian filmmaker who predominantly works in the Tamil and Malayalam film industry. He is making his directorial debut with the movie Kapi, which is a movie based on Computer Graphics. The movie is expected to release in the year 2021.
Childhood
Born on 29 March 1990 to Mr. Bhaskar and Mrs. Rajamma, Gokulraj hails from Thiruvalla, a place in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. Since childhood, Gokul had always aspired to be a director. He completed his bachelor's degree from his alma mater, Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikkara.
Career
He began his career by working for several renowned television channels like Kappa, We, People, Janam TV, and TV Now. He was an important member of the Mathrubhumi News during its launching. He was the Creative Head of TV Now channel and was a visualizer in a bank advertisement company. While gaining experience in the field of media, he kept his zeal to transform into a filmmaker ignited. He was a part of BlockBuster movie Odiyan's creative team. He worked in Title Graphics, Merchandise, Collateral Designing and Communication Strategy and Motion Graphics cum Concept Designing of the movie. He also worked as the VFX Supervisor for the 2017 Malayalam movie Villain. He has recently announced India's first Visual Production project starring the famous Malayalam movie actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. The highlight of this movie is that the entire movie will be completely shot virtually. This movie will be realized by the year 2023 and will be released in theatres thereafter. At present, he is making a Tamil movie named Kapi based on Computer Graphics. This movie is a pan-Indian subject based on Indian mythology, and the visual storytelling technique used in Hollywood movies is used and implemented.
