Golden State School of Theology

Golden State School of Theology was an unaccredited bible college and seminary started in 1979 in Alameda, California and last located in Stockton, California. It only offered distance education. Paul Graves was the last president.[1]

Golden State ceased operations on March 31, 2020. [2]

Accreditation[edit]

Golden State School of Theology was not affiliated/ accredited with any regional or national accrediting agency. The school had a religious exemption from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education's rules and regulations.

In July 2001, the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education gave GSST "religious exemption" from the "minimum" California requirements of higher education.[3]
