Intercity Transfer Services

Go2 Traveller Transfers, a transportation company based in Namibia, currently offers nine transfer routes throughout the country. Their service is designed to allow passengers to hop on and off as needed.[6]

Travel Agency and Tour Operator

The company is vertically-integrated as it creates and operates its own tours. It also runs tours on behalf of other companies through its destination management company, The Gondwana Travel Centre. Additionally, Safari2Go is an online travel agency that focuses on Namibian accommodation providers, and this service was recently relaunched in February 2023.[7]

The Narrative Namibia is an online store that retails local curios and other Namibian products.[8]

Live Stream

Gondwana Collection Namibia installed a webcam at a waterhole near Namib Desert Lodge. What started as a method to collect data for the Namibia Weather Network (2010), eventually turned into a live stream in 2016 and in 2021, went live on YouTube.[9]

Corporate Affairs

Gondwana Collection Namibia is a private enterprise and an unlisted public company trading as Gondwana Holdings Limited.[10]

Marketing

Trump Campaigns

Between 2017 and 2018, during his presidency, Donald Trump made several comments that prompted Gondwana Collection Namibia to make a series of videos, made in collaboration with EES, that market Namibia by using Trump's statements in a comedic way.

The first video followed the international Every Second Counts (video parodies) trend with a play on Trump's America First policy. The video was criticised by Namibian comedian and entrepreneur, Lazarus Jacobs, who on Twitter described the video as being “culturally insensitive towards black Namibians,"[11] but Jacobs has since collaborated with Gondwana in other marketing campaigns to promote the country and the Gondwana Collection Namibia properties.

The second video was in reaction to an error in Donald Trump's speech where he referred to Namibia as Nambia.[12] Gondwana Collection Namibia, with the help of ProStudio, quickly reacted with a video introducing the "newly discovered land" of NamBIA. The video again focussed on marketing the country and used footage of their accommodation properties.

On the 13th of January 2018, the third and final Trump-inspired video was released as a reaction to Trump's insinuation that African countries are "shithole countries".[13] Again using a voice-imitation of Trump sarcastically promoting Namibia as a travel destination with footage of some of Namibia's top tourist destinations and Gondwana Collection Namibia's various properties.[14]
