Early Life
Gong Yoo was born on July 10, 1979, in Busan, South Korea. His birth name is Gong Ji-cheol. He later adopted the stage name “Gong Yoo,” which combines the family names of his father and mother. From a young age, he showed an interest in media and performing arts.
